Massage therapy demonstration at cancer support group

Brandi Davis, medical massage therapist, will present a demonstration on the benefits of massage therapy during cancer treatments at the Smyth County Cancer Support Group meeting Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 6:30.
Davis is a 2007 graduate of Appalachian Institute of Healing Arts and is a nationally and state-certified massage therapist. She is certified in medical oncology and therapeutic massage. Davis works with Wythe County Community Hospital, Blue Ridge Chiropractic of Wytheville and Rural Retreat, and Je Grace of Marion.
This meeting is open to anyone who has cancer, is a cancer survivor, a caregiver or those who simply want more information about cancer.
The meeting will be held at Madam Russell United Methodist Church in Saltville.
