A fight between two females at a Main Street restaurant/bar Friday night resulted in the arrest of one of their male friends, according to Wytheville police. The incident occurred around midnight at the Main Street Bistro.
Calvin Jermaine Boysaw of Wytheville was charged with being drunk in public and throwing a bottle at an occupied vehicle. He is being held without bond at the New River Valley Regional Jail in Dublin.
Lt. Joel Hash said officers were dispatched to the 195 W. Main St. business after receiving a report of a fight in progress. They also were told a gun was involved, according to the lieutenant.
Town police officers, deputies from the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office and an ABC agent responded to the call. They found the fight had moved outside to the street.
Hash noted that while officers were speaking to all the parties involved and other witnesses they heard a loud noise they thought was a gun shot. When they turned in the direction of the noise, the lieutenant said, the officers saw a man running away.
The officers pursued the suspect, later identified as Boysaw, and were able to take him into custody, Hash reported. He said no weapon was found and it is believed the sound came from a bottle thrown at a vehicle belonging to one of the females involved in the fight.
Boysaw was then charged with the crimes.
Further investigation continues in the incident.

Belive me they are stacked but they are all inside. Very much a place no one would want to be. A few days there should be enough to get him on track.
